Kitty Shame

I can’t get over this:

BANGKOK, Thailand – Thai police officers who break rules will be forced to wear hot pink armbands featuring “Hello Kitty,” the Japanese icon of cute, as a mark of shame, a senior officer said Monday.

    That is just too hilarious. I suppose it’s just because it’s just too cute and too girly for a mucho macho police officer to wear. Unfortunately, this isn’t necessarily a public thing. According to the article, they only wear it in the office all day and not in public. That’s a shame. I think it would make a bigger impact if they had to wear a frilly pink armband in public.

    Yes it’s just so interesting to use cute as a punishment. It’s funny how something so sweet and innocent can become something bad like this.
    I wonder if these guys really detest wearing these haha :D
